Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for its highly anticipated Disney+ series, "Daredevil: Born Again," featuring the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, reprising his role from the beloved Netflix series. Scheduled for release on March 4, the series also brings back familiar faces such as Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, known as Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, aka The Punisher.
The trailer showcases the reunion of these iconic characters, delivering intense and brutal action sequences as Daredevil confronts the criminal underworld of New York City's Hell's Kitchen. A key plot point revealed is an unexpected alliance between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, united against a new and chilling adversary—the artistically inclined serial killer known as Muse. In the trailer, Muse appears menacingly in his distinctive bleeding eye white mask.
Muse, a relatively new addition to Daredevil's roster of villains, was created by Charles Soule and Ron Garney, making his debut in the 2016 comic "Daredevil #11."
Additionally, the trailer offers a glimpse of Wilson Bethel returning as Bullseye, another formidable foe in Daredevil's world. Bethel, who portrayed Bullseye (aka Benjamin Poindexter) in Season 3 of the Netflix series, appeared in 11 out of the 13 episodes. That season not only introduced Bullseye to the Netflix Marvel Cinematic Universe but also reimagined the character with a poignant and tragic backstory, enriching his character since his first appearance in 1976's "Daredevil #131." Fans are eager to see how Bullseye's narrative will evolve in this new series.
