This hidden trophy/achievement is deceptively simple yet surprisingly difficult to find. Its rarity stems from its easily overlooked nature. To unlock it, you must capture a unique endemic lifeform: the Sandstar, found only in the Windward Plains.

Resembling a tiny desert mouse with shimmering fur, the Sandstar is only visible at night in a specific area. Since most players explore the Windward Plains during the day, reaching nightfall requires a strategic approach. There are two ways to do this:

Fast Travel: The earliest method, available once you unlock fast travel points in the Windward Plains. Repeatedly fast traveling between points advances time until nightfall.

Resting: After completing Chapter 3 and unlocking high-rank content, you can use Guild Points to rest at a camp, selecting "Nighttime" for the time of day.

The Sandstar is small and incredibly fast, even for your Seikret. Consider gathering Screamer Pods beforehand. These can be obtained from Baunos, small winged monsters found in groups around Areas 11 and 13 of the Windward Plains. While not essential, Screamer Pods significantly ease the capture process.

Once night falls, locate the Sandstar between Areas 11 and 13. Chase it at full speed, and when close enough, use a Screamer Pod to stun it. Immediately switch to your Capture Net and capture it. The "I Caught a Shooting Star!" trophy/achievement will unlock, rewarding you with the "Ribbon Dream: Amber" nameplate.
