Clash Royale has finally introduced a highly anticipated evolution for the Inferno Dragon. Nearly a decade after its initial release without an evolved form, this legendary fire-breathing unit receives a powerful enhancement. To celebrate this milestone, Supercell teamed up with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for a special announcement.

The evolved Inferno Dragon significantly improves performance in battle. Unlike the original version that reset damage when changing targets, this upgraded form maintains its increasing damage output for more devastating attacks.

Inferno Dragon Evolution Launches New Clash Royale Season

The new season, titled "How to Evolve Your Dragon!", introduces the Inferno Dragon evolution while bringing back the popular 2v2 League mode. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb the competitive ladder.

Milestone Events starting from Arena 7 offer enticing rewards including 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetic items.

Crown Chase #1 provides a decorative Battle Banner complete with frame and an Epic Book of Cards. Crown Chase #2 follows with another Battle Banner and 3 additional Evolution Shards.

To showcase the new evolution cards, developers have scheduled various Game Modes and special Challenges throughout June and early July. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft runs June 2-9, followed by the Inferno Dragon Challenge from June 6-9, which awards a unique Battle Banner and Emote.

Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) permits decks with up to 4 Evolution Cards, while Magical Trio (June 16-23) and 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30) offer fresh gameplay experiences. The season culminates with Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7), allowing decks featuring up to 8 Evolution Cards.
