Bennett Takes The Spotlight Again In Upcoming Genshin Impact 5.0 Livestream

The hype surrounding Natlan in Genshin Impact is reaching fever pitch! Hoyoverse has announced the date for the highly anticipated Natlan special program, sending the community into a frenzy. The live stream will premiere this Friday at 12:00 AM (UTC-4) on Twitch and YouTube.

The poster for the special program, “Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn,” promises a wealth of Natlan reveals, including official banners and free rewards.

The Bennett Debate: Freebie or Unexpected Choice?

Let's address the elephant in the room: free Bennett. While many players anticipated a free Kachina, a Natlan native, Hoyoverse surprised us with Bennett, the adventurous firebrand, as the free 4-star character for the Genshin Impact Special Program. Rumor suggests Bennett’s origins lie in Natlan, making him a somewhat fitting choice. He'll be obtainable through a world quest. Kachina, however, won't be freely available. This deviates from the established tradition of providing a free character from the new region to aid exploration.

A Bountiful Harvest of Free Wishes

Now, for the news that has everyone's Primogem sensors buzzing: the free pulls. After some initial fluctuation (113, then 110, and finally settling at 115), the final number of free pulls seems confirmed. Diligent players who complete all content in Version 5.0 can expect this many pulls. Even with a more relaxed playstyle, you can still anticipate around 90 free pulls.

With Version 5.0 launching on August 28th, coinciding with Genshin's 4th anniversary, expect even more celebratory treats. Hoyoverse is launching a 7-day login event rewarding players with ten fates, 1600 Primogems, a unique pet, and a gadget. Combining this with daily commissions, world quests, Spiral Abyss runs, and events, you could accumulate approximately 18,435 Primogems, or 115 wishes.
