Humans (Known In-Universe as Folk)

Humans, or Folk as they're called in *Avowed*, are the most widespread race both in the game's world and within the character creation menu. As part of the Kith, which includes various sentient and civilized species, humans are central to the story and gameplay.

In *Avowed*, the human customization is extensive, designed to cater to a broad audience. You'll find numerous presets, along with detailed customization options. These include a variety of facial presets, a skin tone slider, and a range of hair textures, ensuring that players can create a character that closely matches their vision.

Elves

Elves are another option for players in *Avowed*. They resemble humans closely, with the main distinctions being slightly different facial structures and, of course, their iconic long, pointed ears.

Godlikes

Godlikes represent a third playable race in *Avowed*. Although all Envoys in the story are Godlike, players can decide whether to display these unique features. Godlikes come with distinct hair and facial options, ranging from subtle to surreal. At launch, players can choose from 14 different Godlike facial features and four hair options, which are available across all races and body types.
