Ubisoft Japan's 30th Anniversary Character Awards Crowns Ezio Auditore!
Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the iconic protagonist of the Assassin's Creed series, has emerged victorious in Ubisoft Japan's recent Character Awards! This online competition, celebrating Ubisoft Japan's three decades of game development, saw fans vote for their top three favorite characters from across Ubisoft's vast catalog. The voting period ran from November 1st, 2024.
The results, announced on Ubisoft Japan's official website and X (formerly Twitter), reveal Ezio as the ultimate fan favorite. To mark this momentous occasion, a dedicated page featuring Ezio in a unique artistic style has been unveiled. Furthermore, four free digital wallpapers (for PCs and smartphones) showcasing Ezio are available for download. A lucky 30 fans will also receive a special Ezio acrylic stand set, while 10 will win an exclusive 180cm Ezio body pillow!
The top ten characters are:

- Aiden Pearce (Watch Dogs)
- Edward Kenway (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag)
- Bayek (Assassin's Creed Origins)
- Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad (Assassin's Creed)
- Wrench (Watch Dogs)
- Pagan Min (Far Cry)
- Eivor Varinsdottir (Assassin's Creed Valhalla)
- Kassandra (Assassin's Creed Odyssey)
- Aaron Keener (The Division 2)
In a parallel poll for most popular franchise, Assassin's Creed also claimed the top spot, surpassing Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs. The Division and Far Cry rounded out the top five franchises.
