Feral Interactive is now accepting pre-registrations for Hitman: Absolution on mobile, with an Android launch scheduled for this autumn. Originally developed by IO Interactive, the game first debuted in 2012 on PC as the fifth major installment in the Hitman franchise.
For Android users, this marks the second Hitman title to arrive on the platform. Hitman: Absolution serves as a sequel to Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal, which launched in 2024. Agent 47 returns to mobile in a deeply personal mission.
Arriving on mobile more than ten years after its original release
The mobile adaptation of Hitman: Absolution offers customizable touch controls, gamepad compatibility, and support for keyboard and mouse inputs. Players can use stealth, create distractions, wear disguises, and explore evolving sandbox environments.
Built on the Glacier 2 engine, the mobile edition preserves the cinematic quality of the original. It features the same striking art direction, intricate level design, and gritty noir-style voice acting and character animations.
In the storyline, the world's most notorious assassin finds himself betrayed by his own agency. After being assigned to eliminate his former handler, Agent 47 must confront his former employers and question his own moral code.
The game includes 20 missions where players can choose their approach—using clever disguises, manipulating the environment, or engaging in direct combat. Sneak past guards in disguise or clear a room in seconds with the Point Shooting mechanic.
