You’re trapped.

Rain lashes the windshield like shattered glass. The parking lot is endless, swallowed by shadows. No streetlights. No signs. Just the faint hum of a dying power line somewhere in the distance. Your breath fogs the inside of the car. Too cold for this time of year.

You fumble for the key. Click. Nothing.

Then—a sound.
Not the rain.
Not the wind.

A slow, deliberate knock on the driver’s side window.

You freeze.

The glass is fogged. But then, slowly, a single fingerpress forms a perfect circle—as if someone is tapping from the other side.

You don’t remember locking the doors.

You didn’t lock them.

You don’t remember getting in the car at all.

The radio crackles to life—static, then a whisper, so soft it might be your mind:

"You’re not supposed to be here."

Your hands tremble. The key is still in the ignition. The engine should start.
But it’s not just the engine.

Something in the back seat… breathe.

You didn’t bring anyone.

And yet—the door handle just moved.
