The world plunged into darkness
In the wilds of Midgard, the dead now walk in daylight. River water sears the throat, Valkyries have ceased escorting the slain to Valhalla, and a sinister presence lurks within forest shadows and deep gorges. The goddess Hel is behind this ruin. With her black magic, she cursed these lands in just fifteen days—and now seeks to enslave the kingdom of the living.
Death no longer exists
You are an immortal, valiant Jarl of the northern warriors, freed from the grasp of death. Healers and shamans are baffled by this phenomenon. But with the path to Valhalla sealed, only one course remains: take up arms and drive the creatures of darkness back to Helheim!
No warrior is an island
Frostborn is a cooperative survival game with MMORPG elements: join forces with other Vikings to construct a mighty stronghold, confront shadow-dwelling creatures in ancient shrines, and battle other players in raids and random encounters across diverse locations and dungeons.
