Bai Cao (Cao Rua), also known as Cao Cao or 3 Cay in Northern Vietnam, is a popular Vietnamese card game, perfect for holidays and gatherings. Gameplay:

Bai Cao uses a standard 52-card deck. Each player receives three cards. Points are calculated based on card values, and the player with the highest total wins.

Scoring:

• Number cards (A, 2-10): Value equals the number on the card.
• Face cards (J, Q, K): Each counts as ten points.
• The final score is the units digit of the total point value. For example, a total of 26 points results in a score of 6. A total of 20 points equals 0 (also called Compensation).
• Note: Suits (Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, Spades) are not considered in scoring.

Special Hands:

• Three Western Cards (3 Tien): Holding three face cards (J, Q, K).
• Three of a Kind (3 Scratch): Holding three cards of the same rank (e.g., 3-3-3).
