The "Guardians of the Road" initiative has been enhanced with a redesigned app, offering a streamlined and improved user experience.

Become a Road Guardian and help save lives!

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road – Our Shared Road" project aims to raise awareness and deter unsafe driving practices. Since January 1st, 2023, the project has been managed by the "Safe Path" association.

Anyone over 18 can download the "Road Guards" app and begin documenting traffic violations.

Using the app is simple and quick. Activate the app before driving, and when you witness a violation, engage the reporting function. Reporting can be initiated via voice command or by pressing a Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will automatically begin recording video and audio evidence of the infraction.

This documented evidence is transmitted to a control center staffed by experienced volunteer traffic monitors. After review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the driver, including a link to the recorded video. In cases involving life-threatening violations, the report is forwarded directly to law enforcement.
