Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection Brings Classic Games to Modern Platforms

Konami has confirmed that a collection of classic Yu-Gi-Oh! games is coming to Nintendo Switch and Steam, celebrating the franchise's 25th anniversary. This "nostalgic package," the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection, will feature several titles from the franchise's early days.

Currently confirmed titles include:

• Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
• Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
• Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
• Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists
• Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2

While these were initially released on Game Boy, the collection will include modern enhancements. These upgrades include online multiplayer battles, save/load functionality, and quality-of-life improvements such as customizable button layouts and background options. Games previously featuring local co-op will also support online co-op.

Konami plans to add more titles to the collection, eventually totaling ten classic games. A full game list, pricing, and release date will be revealed at a later time. Get ready for a blast from the past with these remastered Yu-Gi-Oh! classics!
