- Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is featured in the upcoming Warhammer Skulls showcase
- The showcase will introduce the newest faction joining Tacticus
- Will we see more Imperials, Chaos forces, or perhaps some attention for the Xenos?
Whether you love it or hate it, Snowprint Studios' Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is arguably the definitive Warhammer experience on mobile. Even non-fans can't deny its impressive roster of factions, which is about to grow even larger with a brand new addition!
So what is this new faction? That's the mystery - we won't know until May 22nd when it's revealed during the annual Warhammer Skulls gaming showcase. The event will also feature significant discounts on various grimdark games set in the far future, Old World, and beyond.
With over a dozen factions already in Tacticus, the possibilities might seem limited. We could certainly see another Imperium or Chaos variant, but among the xenos races, there are several factions that deserve more attention. I have my own theory about which one it might be.
Rock and stoneIf I were to guess Tacticus' next faction, I'd say the recently introduced Leagues of Votann stand as strong contenders. These deep-space mining, hard-drinking clones (definitely not dwarves) were a surprising addition to the 40k universe.
Appearing in a mobile game would significantly raise awareness about this fascinating faction. Though we'll probably end up with something like Grey Knights or the Inquisition, be sure to tune in at 9am PST, 12pm EST, 5pm BST and 6pm CEST to discover the truth during the Warhammer Skulls showcase on Twitch!
