Acquiring New Weapons in Hyper Light Breaker

Explore Overgrowths to uncover new gear. While exploration naturally yields rewards, focusing on sword (Blades) or pistol (Rails) icons on the map directly leads to weapon discoveries.

Blades are melee weapons, each possessing unique movesets and special abilities. Rails, the ranged counterparts, offer diverse functionalities setting them apart. Both weapon types come in varying rarities, with gold representing the highest tier and superior stats.

Utilize the Cache function to store any Overgrowth weapon in your personal stash instead of immediately equipping it. Modify your loadout before commencing a new run to equip your preferred weapons.

Obtaining New Starting Weapons

Beyond discovering weapons during gameplay, purchase new starting gear from merchants at the Cursed Outpost. Initially, only the Blades merchant is accessible. Repairing the Rails merchant's shop using gathered materials unlocks their inventory.

Merchants have limited stock, but their inventories refresh periodically. If initial offerings are undesirable, check back later for updated selections.

Weapon Upgrades
