Destiny 2: Reputation Glitch Frustrates Players

Destiny 2's recent Grandmaster Nightfall launch has unearthed another reputation glitch impacting Warlock players. Despite the generally positive reception to recent content additions like "Into the Light" and "The Final Shape," a surge in bugs has marred the experience. While Bungie actively addresses many issues through updates, new problems continue to emerge with each weekly reset.

Recent bugs have ranged from unintended free rewards in AFK Crucible matches to overpowered Paracausal Shots with the Hawkmoon exotic. Warlocks have faced a particularly frustrating reputation bug in Gambit, hindering their rank progression compared to Titans and Hunters. This issue, however, appears to extend beyond Gambit.

The June 25th weekly reset brought back Grandmaster Nightfalls, offering increased rewards and a Vanguard reputation boost alongside doubled rewards. However, Warlocks are experiencing significantly reduced reputation gains compared to other classes, despite the intended double XP.

This Warlock reputation bug, seemingly present for several months, remains unacknowledged by Bungie. While initially noticed in Gambit, the problem is now apparent across various activities. The community is actively raising awareness, hoping to prompt a response from Bungie.

Bungie's recent Update 8.0.0.5 addressed numerous issues, including Ritual Pathfinder adjustments and the removal of Elemental surges from Dungeons and Raids. However, the persistent Warlock reputation bug highlights the ongoing challenge of maintaining a smooth and bug-free experience in Destiny 2. Players can only hope for a swift resolution from the developers.
