Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Post-Launch Updates
Bug Fixes and Localization Improvements

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has deployed its inaugural post-launch update. Sandfall Interactive announced via Steam on April 30 that Hotfix 1.2.2 is now available, primarily addressing multiple bugs and refining localization.
The fixes resolve gameplay issues including a soft-lock triggered when stunning the Grown Bourgeon, various world map soft-locks, and other technical problems. The update also enhances localization for French, German, and Chinese language versions.

According to developers, additional fixes and improvements are currently in development. While these patches enhance gameplay quality, fans continue requesting substantial content updates, potentially including DLC.
Earlier responses from Expedition 33's lead writer on Instagram acknowledged fan interest in possible DLC. While unconfirmed, the writer's optimistic response suggested the game's commercial success makes future expansions likely.
Director Recommends Competing RPG Release

Sandfall Games' Creative Director Guillaume Broche recently praised another RPG launched simultaneously with Expedition 33. In an April 30 Twitter post, Broche encouraged players to experience The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, describing it as "another great turn-based RPG made with love by an awesome team."
This endorsement responded to reciprocal praise from The Hundred Line’s co-director Kazutaka Kodaka, who had previously recommended Expedition 33 through social media. Both games have garnered positive receptions despite launching alongside major competitors.
The Hundred Line maintains "Very Positive" Steam reviews, while Expedition 33 achieved record-breaking sales, moving over 1 million copies in its first three days.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
