Just one month after its launch—and following its addition to Xbox Game Pass—Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios have released a fresh trailer celebrating *Avowed*. The new video highlights selected reviews and quotes from gaming media, underscoring the game's favorable reception as an engaging and immersive action RPG.

The latest update introduces full support for NVIDIA DLSS 4, bringing advanced technologies such as Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and DLAA. These enhancements significantly boost performance, with NVIDIA reporting up to a threefold increase in frame rates under maximum 4K settings, achieving up to 340 FPS. In addition, developers have hinted at forthcoming announcements regarding the game’s future development and long-term support, expected to be revealed in the next few weeks.

Beyond technical upgrades, this patch also enriches gameplay. Players now gain an extra talent point every five levels, with existing players receiving their accumulated points automatically upon loading their save files. Keyboard and mouse users benefit from added control options, including the ability to toggle between walking and running. A new accessibility feature also increases font sizes across documents, guides, and other in-game text interfaces, improving readability for all players.

While *Avowed* didn’t universally wow critics, it has still earned solid praise across the board. Digital Foundry notably referred to the game as a technical “triumph,” reinforcing its status as a standout release from Obsidian Entertainment and a strong entry in the Xbox Game Studios lineup.
