Story:

The narrative follows the player's participation in the Heat Showdown, a premier street racing competition set across the urban streets and rural outskirts of Night City.

As the player competes in increasingly challenging Heat Showdown events, they catch the eye of Lieutenant Wolf, the head of a specialized NCPD task force. Eventually becoming a target of this task force, the player goes underground and begins operating as an undercover agent for the Crew.

Roma and Mando provide guidance and experience, helping the player navigate their rise to prominence within the Verone and Yakuza factions.

Campaign:

Campaign missions are story-driven events that unfold as the player progresses through the Heat Showdown and achieves higher Reputation Levels during nighttime races.
