📖 How to Play
Naija Ludo is a classic race game for 2 players. Each player controls 4 colored pieces, placed in two matching houses (red and blue, or green and yellow). The goal? Be the first to get all 8 of your pieces into your home area.
🎯 Objective
Move all your pieces from their starting positions, around the 56-step track, and into your home zone — before your opponent does.
🚶 Movement Rules
- Red house starts first (after a win, the loser takes red for the next game).
- A piece cannot leave its starting house until you roll a 6.
- Once on the track, a piece moves forward according to the dice roll.
- Pieces travel along a 56-step path from start to center, then into the home zone.
🎯 Pieces are removed from play only when:
- They complete the full 56 steps, or
- They capture an opponent’s piece.
🔥 Piece Capture – The Key to Victory
- Capture by landing on the same square as an opponent’s piece.
- The captured piece is sent back to its starting house.
- Your capturing piece is removed from the board (unless a special rule is enabled).
💡 Strategy Tip:
Be aggressive — capture often, but avoid leaving your pieces vulnerable.
⚠️ Important: You cannot capture if the remaining dice roll cannot be fully used.
⚠️ Important Gameplay Notes
-
Roll Again with 6s:
Roll the dice again only if you roll a 6. You can keep rolling as long as you get 6s — but you must use every roll before ending your turn. -
Use Your Roll:
Always use the result of your current dice roll before deciding to roll again. -
Optimize for Speed:
For faster gameplay, go to Settings and enable DIRECT COUNT to skip dice animation and speed up turns.
