DAB+ Radio USB

This streamlined radio app provides effortless control over your USB DAB+ receiver (not SDR), ideally suited for in-car head units. Its clean interface features a user-friendly slideshow. Station logos are not displayed. No internet connection is necessary.

Important Note: This app requires a USB receiver with one of the device IDs listed below. It will not function without a compatible receiver.

New Features (Version 1.1.6):

• Save and export currently displayed information to a file for sharing.

Existing Features:

• Customizable info text color (long press to change).
• Experimental steering wheel button support (see details below).

Steering Wheel Button Mapping:

• Skip Next: Advances to the next station.
• Skip Previous: Returns to the previous station.
• Play: Cycles through station filters ("All," "Selected Program Type," "Favorites").

This app isn't intended to compete with the excellent "DAB-Z" app. It's designed for users who, like myself, prefer a simple interface with large, easily accessible buttons and selection areas, particularly beneficial for less-than-perfect car touchscreens.

Optimized for 1024x600 landscape car screens. If you experience display issues with other resolutions, please report them on the XDA Developers website (link provided).

This app is based on the HRadio example code by IRT GmbH (Fabian Sattler), licensed under the Apache License 2.0.

• Android 14 target enabled.
