The Tawakkalna app is the official Saudi Arabian government application for managing emergencies and safeguarding public health. Developed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), it played a crucial role in mitigating the spread of COVID-19.

Initially, Tawakkalna focused on facilitating relief efforts by digitally issuing permits during curfew periods for both public and private sector employees, as well as citizens. This proved instrumental in controlling the virus's transmission within the Kingdom.

As part of the "Return with Caution" initiative, the app expanded its services to include vital features such as secure, privacy-protected health status indicators, displayed via a color-coded system. This enhanced the safe return to normalcy.
