Tracking down Wild-Caught Sashimi in *Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii* can be tricky, as the game doesn't exactly spell out how to find this elusive ingredient. Fear not, fellow pirate! This guide reveals the secrets to securing this fishy delicacy.
You can only obtain Wild-Caught Sashimi by exploring the waters off Alola Beach in Honolulu. There are two methods: purchasing it or fishing for it.
Buying from Grayson

The easiest way to get Wild-Caught Sashimi is by buying it from Grayson’s Weapons at Sea, a floating merchant located on the east side of Alola Beach's ocean (see map above). He sells it for a mere $1.60 per unit. Grayson only appears after you've explored that area of the ocean. You can carry a maximum of 10 sashimi at a time, but you can return to him as needed.
Fishing for Sashimi
While you can fish for Wild-Caught Sashimi in Alola Beach by swimming and pressing the "Catch" prompt when near fish, this method is far less efficient. Our testing revealed an incredibly low success rate—approximately 1 out of 50 attempts yielded Wild-Caught Sashimi. This method is free, but incredibly time-consuming.
Recommendation
To save yourself considerable time and frustration, buying from Grayson is strongly recommended. If you're low on cash, a quick brawl with some thugs on the beach will quickly replenish your funds.
