The Cavalier Sniper Rifle awaits you near the Military Unit within the Duga base. It's tucked away inside a warehouse connected to a greenhouse—a location you might already be familiar with if you've previously retrieved the Journalist's stash. Accessing the warehouse through the second entrance should be straightforward.

Accessing the Warehouse Near Duga's Military Unit

After entering the Duga base, head towards the Military Unit building (as marked on your map). You don't need to enter the building itself; simply navigate around it to reach the greenhouse at the rear. Exercise caution, as two Pseudogiants patrol this area and will attack on sight. If you prefer to avoid a confrontation, approach the greenhouse carefully.

Proceed through the greenhouse to reach the warehouse. Be prepared—upon entering, you'll be swarmed by rats, relentlessly chipping away at your health. To escape this rodent onslaught, utilize the elevated green platforms at the warehouse's rear. A well-placed grenade can quickly resolve the rat problem.

Retrieve the Cavalier Rifle

Once the rat infestation is dealt with, focus your attention on the warehouse ceiling above the greenhouse entryway. You'll spot wooden boards painted yellow. Destroy these boards using your weapon, and the Cavalier sniper rifle will drop down.

Retrieve your prize and safely exit the Duga base. You can then have the Cavalier upgraded by Screw, the technician at Rostok base. Its high damage and accuracy are further enhanced through upgrades and modifications.
