Sony has recently unveiled an exciting new game titled Mukti, developed by underDOGS Studio as part of the Sony India Hero Project. This first-person story exploration game is set to launch on both PlayStation 5 and PC, offering players a deeply immersive experience within an Indian museum.
Mukti tackles a significant and pressing social issue: human trafficking. The game takes players through the museum's intricate corridors, where they uncover the painful realities and untold stories behind this global problem. Through engaging storytelling and innovative gameplay, Mukti aims to shed light on the experiences of victims and survivors, encouraging players to reflect on and engage with these critical narratives.
The game draws on real-life stories and thorough historical research to foster awareness and stimulate discussion. Each element of Mukti is crafted to evoke empathy, encourage dialogue, and inspire action against human trafficking.
underDOGS Studio is collaborating closely with PlayStation to optimize the use of the PS5 DualSense controller's haptics and adaptive triggers. These features will enhance the gameplay, particularly in moments of quiet puzzle-solving, by providing subtle vibrations that deepen the player's immersion.
