How to Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.

Few things are as disheartening as booting up your favorite game only to find your recent progress unsaved. This can be particularly frustrating with new releases like *R.E.P.O.* where autosave features might not be as straightforward as expected. Understanding the save mechanics is key to preserving your hard-earned achievements.

In *R.E.P.O.*, the golden rule for saving your game is to complete the level you're on. There's no option for manual saving, so if you quit or die mid-mission, you'll find yourself back at the start. Death in *R.E.P.O.* results in a trip to the Disposal Arena, and more importantly, the deletion of your current save file. Similarly, exiting the game before reaching the end of a level means you'll have to begin that level all over again.

To successfully save your game, you must complete each level or location. After gathering your valuables, head to the Extraction Point and make your way to the truck. Once inside, hold the message button above your head to signal your AI boss, the Taxman, that you're ready to move to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can engage in shopping and other activities before using the same button to proceed to the next level.

After leaving the Service Station and arriving at your next location, it's safe to exit to the main menu or quit the game. When you or the host (if applicable) restarts *R.E.P.O.*, you can resume from your last saved point. Remember, the host plays a pivotal role in ensuring the game saves correctly by exiting at the appropriate time, which will also log out other players.
