Sunborn's latest tactical RPG, *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium*, is a free-to-play experience available on both PC and mobile devices, featuring gacha elements that many players are keen to understand. If you're curious about whether the pity system carries over between banners, here's what you need to know.
Will Pity Carry Over to the Next Banner in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium?
The answer is a resounding yes; your pity counter and the pulls you make on one limited banner will indeed carry over to the next limited banner in *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium*.
For instance, during the global launch, the Suomi and Ullrid limited banners ran concurrently. Regardless of which banner you pulled on, the pity counter would increase for both. So, if you were one pull away from hitting pity on the Suomi banner, you could switch to the Ullrid banner for your next pull and have a 50-50 chance of getting Ullrid right away.
This mechanism will continue for future limited banners, as confirmed by players on the Chinese server via Reddit. Once the Suomi and Ullrid banners are no longer available, your accumulated pity will seamlessly transfer to the next limited banner that enters the game.
It's important to note, however, that this pity system does not extend between limited and standard banners. You cannot accumulate pity on the standard banner and then use it to pull a rate-up character on a limited banner.
Additionally, while the hard pity is set at 80 pulls, soft pity begins at 58 pulls. If you haven't obtained an SSR unit by your 58th pull, your chances of getting one will start to increase from the 59th pull onward, culminating in a guaranteed SSR at 80 pulls if your luck doesn't turn sooner.
This should clarify any uncertainties about the pity system in *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium*. For more insights and tips, including our reroll guide, tier list, and how to locate the mailbox, be sure to visit The Escapist.
