Solo developer Jo Drolet has unveiled the upcoming release of Lhea and the Word Spirit, an enchanting single-player roguelite game. In this title, players are tasked with guiding lost souls through mysterious realms, navigating the thin veil between life and death, all under the guidance of an ancient Word Spirit. The game's aesthetic is defined by minimalist visuals complemented by a unique "timeline battle system."

In Lhea and the Word Spirit, players will have the ability to manipulate the timeline of battles, which adds a strategic depth to the gameplay. Players can equip and upgrade various enchanted rings, each offering different spells and the potential to uncover hidden secrets that shed light on the mystery of the In-Between.

True to its roguelite genre, the game ensures that each playthrough is unique, with procedurally generated worlds that demand different strategies for each run.
