Halo Infinite Launches S&D Extraction Mode with Advanced Economic System

While other titles may steal the spotlight, Halo Infinite remains dedicated to enhancing its gameplay with regular content updates. One of the latest additions is the exciting new competitive game mode called S&D Extraction, designed to offer players a unique and strategically deep experience.

Drawing inspiration from Valve's Counter-Strike, S&D Extraction brings its own flair to the table. The mode pits two teams of four against each other: one team takes on the role of attackers, aiming to plant a device at a designated point, while the other team defends this objective. After each round, teams swap roles, adding variety to the gameplay. To win, a team must secure victory in six rounds.

Players can buy equipment at the beginning of each round using in-game currency earned through completing objectives. The prices of equipment are dynamic, adjusting based on player performance, and all gear is reset at the end of each round.

The cost of items is influenced by their effectiveness and potential impact within a round, with more potent items commanding higher prices. Players can anticipate more affordable options in the early stages, escalating costs as the match progresses, and possibly even steeper prices towards the end if they manage to save their earnings. Additionally, players have the option to pay for a respawn after being eliminated, adding another layer of strategy to the game.
