Early-game combat in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 can be challenging, especially with limited weaponry. This guide shows you how to acquire the Dogwood Village Bow early and without spending a single groat.

After parting ways with Hans, your path to the wedding involves either working for a blacksmith or miller. Regardless of your chosen profession, the blacksmith's location conveniently marks the bow's whereabouts on your map.

The blacksmith resides in Tachov, north of Troskowitz. From Troskowitz, follow the westward path, then north. At the fork, where a smaller road branches west, veer right into a cluster of trees. A small training area is hidden within.

You'll find a target with arrows – grab them for free ammo! To the right of the target, resting against a tree trunk, is the Dogwood Village Bow. Help yourself to some nearby brew and mushrooms while you're at it.

Alternative Acquisition:

While you can purchase the Dogwood Village Bow from Huntsman’s Son Vitek in Tachov, it's not the most powerful ranged weapon, and not worth the cost given its proximity to the free alternative. Vitek does, however, offer superior weaponry, and you can supplement your funds through alchemy.

Having a ranged weapon significantly eases combat in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, especially for those who prefer ranged combat over melee.

After securing the bow, resume your questline – whether you choose the blacksmith's path or the miller's. Save your game after forging a sword (blacksmith path) before proceeding.
