Fortnite Drops Reload Mode, Bringing Back Classic Guns and Iconic Maps!

Fortnite's new "Reload" mode throws players back to the game's roots with a modern twist. This fast-paced mode packs 40 players onto a smaller map featuring classic locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row. No vehicles are available, but the loot pool is brimming with unvaulted weapons, including fan favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler.

Reload Mode Gameplay:

Squad wipes are permanent; if your entire team is eliminated, it's game over. Victory Crowns remain in play. Reviving downed teammates is key, with a reboot timer starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40 as the match progresses. Eliminating opponents reduces the reboot timer. Downed players can choose to initiate their reboot immediately.

Elimination Consequences:

When eliminated, players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build modes), keeping the action intense and resource-driven.

Rewards and Challenges:

The Reload mode features intro quests offering substantial XP rewards. Completing three quests unlocks the Digital Dogfight Contrail, six quests unlock the Pool Cubes Wrap, and nine quests unlock the NaNa Bath Back Bling. A Victory Royale earns you The Rezzbrella Glider.
