How To Get The Typhoon Blade

Looting Typhoon Blade Stands

Typhoon Blade StandThe most reliable method is locating and looting a Typhoon Blade Stand. These stands appear at specific points across the island, but their spawn isn't guaranteed. Prime locations include:
  • Flooded Frogs
  • Magic Mosses
  • Lost Lake
  • Nightshift Forest
  • Shogun's Solitude

Simply interact with the stand to claim your blade.

Chests & Floor Loot

Chest with Typhoon BladePrefer a less confrontational approach? The Typhoon Blade can also be found in chests and as floor loot. While luck-based, this method offers a chance to acquire the blade even if stands are already looted.

Defeating Demon Warriors

Another way to obtain a Typhoon Blade is by defeating Demon Warriors. These enemies spawn at active portals (three per match) and are marked on your map. Defeating them might yield a Typhoon Blade (if they're carrying one), but they also drop Oni Masks.

Purchase From Kendo

KendoFor a guaranteed acquisition, visit Kendo, located northeast of Nightshift Forest. However, you must first complete all five stages of his Melee Expertise Quests to unlock the purchase option.

Defeating Shogun X (Mythic Only)

A Mythic Typhoon Blade awaits those brave enough to defeat Shogun X in Shogun's Arena. Be warned, this is a challenging encounter.

How To Use The Typhoon Blade

The Typhoon Blade is a versatile melee weapon offering both damage and mobility. Its durability depletes with each use, resulting in its eventual loss.

Here's a breakdown of its abilities:

  • Passive Ability: Increased sprint speed and reduced stamina consumption while equipped.
  • Attack: A slashing attack dealing 30 damage per hit, chainable into a combo finishing with 50 damage. Also usable mid-air for a downward attack that negates fall damage.
  • Cyclone Slash: A heavy attack (90 damage) that knocks enemies back. Enters a 10-second cooldown after use.
  • Wind Leap: Leap into the air while sprinting (negates fall damage).
  • Air Dash: Dash forward in mid-air (negates fall damage).
