Football Manager 2025 Cancelled

Football Manager 2025, the anticipated next installment in the popular sports simulation series, has been cancelled. This affects all platforms, including the planned mobile release on Netflix Games. Sports Interactive, the developer, attributed the cancellation to difficulties in achieving their target level of technical quality. The team will now focus on the development of Football Manager 26.

The cancellation is undoubtedly disappointing for fans, particularly given previous delays and the highly anticipated Netflix Games mobile launch. The lack of planned updates to Football Manager 24 further adds to the frustration.

While the late cancellation is frustrating, it's arguably commendable that Sports Interactive prioritized quality over a rushed, subpar release. The hope is that Football Manager 26 will meet expectations and potentially return to Netflix Games.
