The Dynasty Warriors franchise, a veteran in the action genre, returns after a seven-year hiatus since its ninth mainline installment with Dynasty Warriors: Origins. This reboot aims to refresh the series for new players while delivering the signature Musou action longtime fans crave.

Unfortunately, Dynasty Warriors: Origins does not offer any multiplayer options, a point of disappointment for some series veterans.
Unlike previous entries, Dynasty Warriors: Origins features a fixed protagonist. You won't be able to switch characters during the main campaign.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins acts as a reboot. Players experience familiar battles and events through the eyes of a new, original character. Prior game knowledge isn't required, making it an ideal entry point for newcomers.
While battles occur in large, expansive areas, these aren't seamlessly connected. Players navigate between areas using an overworld map.
