Crashlands 2 just got a major update today, rolling out version 1.1, and the team at Butterscotch Shenanigans has listened to the community's feedback. This update brings back beloved features from the original Crashlands and introduces new challenges and modes to enhance your gaming experience.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
Introducing Legend Mode, a new high-difficulty setting that surpasses even the Challenge Mode. Enemies on Woanope are now faster, deal more damage, and boast increased HP, while Flux Dabes is more fragile than ever. Completing Legend Mode won't unlock new achievements, but you'll automatically gain all the achievements from lower difficulties as a reward.
For those who prefer a more relaxed gameplay experience, Explorer Mode is now available. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing you to focus on farming mushrooms, building a cozy home, and fishing without the constant threat of danger. It's the perfect way to immerse yourself in the story, decorate your base, and enjoy the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
One of the most requested features, The Compendium, makes a triumphant return. This tool tracks everything Flux discovers, from pets and recipes to items you need to collect to achieve your goals. It's a comprehensive guide to help you complete your journey in Crashlands 2.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 are now more involved in combat, each with a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds. Gear crafting has also seen an upgrade, with random bonus stats now appearing on armor, alongside a variety of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets to enhance your gameplay.
Quality of life improvements are sprinkled throughout the update. You can now build on a wider range of terrain, customize the location of your home teleporter, and adjust the night-time darkness to your preference.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store, having launched on April 10th. This patch demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to responding to player feedback and continuously improving the game.
