Battlecruisers Is Celebrating Its 4th Anniversary with a Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is celebrating its fourth anniversary with a massive update: the "Trans Edition." Mecha Weka has packed this update with a ton of new single-player and multiplayer content.

What's New in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

Three new cruisers—Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith—are joining the fight. Two new buildings (Cannon and Sledgehammer) and two new units (SpyPlane and MissileFighter) have also been added.

Existing cruisers receive fresh customization options with three new body kits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler.

Skirmishes now include Man o' War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime as selectable options. PvP matches now feature a countdown timer, and aircraft trails dynamically match player colors.

Extensive balancing changes have been implemented. Several ships received buffs, including the Raptor (shield build and recharge rate increased from 3x to 5x) and the Hammerhead (health increased from 4000 to 4200). The ShipTurret's damage has been boosted from 40 to 60, but its range has been reduced from 19 to 16.

The underwater environment has received a visual overhaul, featuring improved transparency to showcase sunken wreckage. Sea shading has been enhanced, and the visual effects of cruiser and ship destruction have been significantly improved.

Ready to Dive In?

Since its 2021 launch, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major annual updates. This year's Trans Edition expands the adventure with new side quests and a mysterious Battlefortress hidden somewhere in the South Pacific.

Set in a flooded Earth in the year 2732, Battlecruisers features robot-driven construction and warfare. Players command their own battlecruiser, customizing it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons while facing formidable enemies.
