How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE
After numerous trials, we've finally unlocked all three Arata stages in GHOUL://RE. While these stages don't demand exceptional gaming skills or extensive exploration, they do require significant Reputation grinding. And we mean a LOT of it!
Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE
To kick things off, you need to amass 25,000 Reputation points and reach the rank of Special Investigator within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the Commission of Counter Ghoul (C.C.G. center) and locate Damiro D. Mado, the NPC with headphones on the second floor. He'll assign you the Arata Stage 1 quest, which involves collecting 10 one-eyed fragments and 10 Kokuja fragments.

The quickest way to obtain these fragments is by defeating bosses like Eto and Tatara, and then crafting them at the crafting table. To check your Reputation, speak with Saiyo Natsuki, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you've gathered all 20 fragments, convert them into five one-eyed Kokuja fragments at the crafting station. If bosses prove challenging, our GHOUL://RE Boss and Raid guide can help you dominate.

Return to Damiro, and he'll direct you to speak with "him". This puzzled many in the GHOUL://RE community, but "he" is none other than Black Reaper of Doom And Despair.

Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE
For Arata stages 2 and 3, you'll need to switch to permadeath (PD) mode to unlock the legendary armor. It's advisable to team up with a strong group, as solo missions can be frustrating.
Once you've gathered 100,000 Reputation points, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and go to the Laboratory. There, you'll find Black Reaper of Doom And Despair—the guy with the scalpel, dressed in a black suit next to the door.

Hand over the five one-eyed Kokuja fragments along with your 100,000 Reputation, and you'll complete Stage 2, acquiring the Arata-Proto armor. There have been various speculations about the required Reputation amount, with some suggesting 75,000 or 90,000 to 100,000. From our experience, 100,000 Reputation points guarantee success.
Remember, both Stage 2 and Stage 3 must be completed in PD servers to avoid repetitive responses from the Black Reaper, which would prevent you from progressing.
Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE
The final Arata stage also involves "The Scalpel Guy", along with one more fragment and a hefty sum of money. As with Stage 2, you must be in PD mode to continue.
Once you've obtained a single one-eyed Kakuja fragment and saved up 500,000 Yen, visit Black Reaper of Doom And Despair again in the C.C.G. building. After paying him, he'll teleport you to face the Kishou Arima boss.
To defeat Kishou Arima, you'll need at least average gaming skills, involving lots of jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing damage from above. While challenging, even average players can triumph with practice.

Be prepared for multiple attempts, as many will fall in battle. Ensure you have ample resources, as each retry requires another one-eyed Kakuja fragment and 500,000 Yen.
Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. However, remember that while Arata armor offers powerful buffs and protection, it's quite taxing on your body.
Arata Armor Tips & Tricks
Arata-Proto Armor Buffs
Arata armor is incredibly powerful, but it drains your hunger at a rapid rate while worn. You can't eat with Arata on, so to replenish hunger, you'll need to remove the armor.
Despite these drawbacks, the armor's benefits are substantial. You become immune to being ragdolled, a significant advantage in all game scenarios.

Arata also enhances your equipment, making you more tanky and able to sustain and deal massive damage. If your hunger depletes during a fight, the armor will start consuming your health bar. Be cautious in boss fights, and consider removing the armor if it becomes too hazardous.
Reputation Grinding
The fastest way to accumulate the necessary Reputation is by fighting bosses in PD mode. Though risky, each boss killed in PD mode yields 1,500 Reputation, far surpassing the 500 outside PD. Killing Ghouls only nets 100 Reputation per kill, making them less effective for grinding during Arata quests.
